American Coach Chapter of the Family Motor Coach Association Newsletter…

This is an exciting time for the American Coach Chapter!  We just completed a very successful rally at Minot, North Dakota and are making plans for the next three FMCA conventions!  Please take the time to read about the upcoming conventions in Tucson and Syracuse.

Jim & Doty Graham hosted a wonderful pre-rally at the Roughrider campground in Minot, then we moved to the North Dakota State Fairgrounds for FMCA’s 100th convention.  We had a great time at the fairgrounds with afternoon socials held daily on the fairgrounds drag strip.  Most of the attendees had opted for dry camping at the fairgrounds and the drag strip was our home away from home for six fun filled days!  Janeen Gerke, Randy Hendricks, Don Gephart and other REV personnel sponsored a social one night, and their support of our chapter is greatly appreciated!  This event was Randy Hendricks’ last FMCA convention prior to his retirement, we wish him well and know that he will be missed!

Pauline and I feel fortunate to be a part of this chapter and we hope to see you at a future rally!

Next stop Tucson!  Registration will be available online September 26th for March 2020’s FMCA’s 101st International Convention in Tucson, AZ.  Our chapter will hold our pre-rally at the Pima County Fairgrounds, the same location as the convention.  We will arrive at the fairgrounds on the morning of Monday, March 23rd and we will stay on the same site throughout the convention which starts March 26 and runs through March 29.   The FMCA will not charge us for the extra days.  You must inform the FMCA when you register that you are arriving on the 23rd and that you are with the American Coach Chapter!  It is anticipated that the full hook up sites will sell out fast!  Register early!  It does not matter what your preference for electricity or water/sewer is, we will have a designated location for our gatherings.  A copy of our registration and agenda will be posted on our web site soon ( www.acc-fmca.com).  The separate registration to be posted on our web site is to cover the cost of catering for the pre-rally.

July 24 – 26, 2020 Second stop on the rolling rally, Country Hills Campground, Marathon, NY

www.countryhillscampground.com This is a small campground and our Eastern Director will be our point of contact.  Please let Jean know if you want to make this stop.  Payment will be made prior to arrival.  Jean’s email address is  easterndirector@acc-fmca.com

FMCA Structure

The FMCA has nearly 400 chapters divided into ten areas, nine geographical plus the International Area which focuses on an interest rather than geography.  Our Chapter has members in 32 states and two provinces and belongs in the International Area!  The International Area Organization has a very informative web site and I encourage you to check it out at http://fmcainto.com/ .
