President’s letter

This is an exciting time for the American Coach Chapter!  Our sold-out Perry pre-rally started with 28 coaches at Fair Harbor RV Park and we grew from there.  Eastern coordinator Bruno Borin and his wife Jean did a terrific job hosting the pre-rally.   We had breakfast daily, cook-outs, and a catered dinner.  There was entertainment, very informative social hours, bonfires, and a challenging team trivia contest.  The ladies had a great luncheon in historic downtown Perry and a social event at the campground.  Bruno led a motorhome technical seminar that was very educational. The American Coach service team provided complimentary service and the DeGerald Aquahot team made house calls at Fair Harbor.  There was always something to do!

When the pre-rally was over the fun carried right over to the fairgrounds!  We had a great site for terrific social hours and the FMCA gave us additional space for a chapter “Block Party” that was a tremendous success!

We have welcomed twenty member coaches in the last two months!

Our registrations for the Minot Magic pre-rally are exceeding expectations!  Our Central and Western area coordinators are working on the next two upcoming FMCA conventions and all of us are looking forward to the convention in Minot where the FMCA board finalizes the location of future conventions.

Pauline and I are glad to be a part of this chapter and we hope to see you at a future rally!

Ray Shea

Report from the Perry Rally Coordinator A big THANK YOU to all who attended!  The success of the events can only be measured by the smiles, laughter and camaraderie we all shared in Perry.  The willingness of numerous individuals to chip in and assist during the pre-rally and at the fairgrounds is greatly appreciated.  What a wonderful thing it was to see our ACC members invite American Coach owners scattered throughout the fairgrounds to attend our “Block Party”.  What a successful event it was with our chapter members welcoming and encouraging our guests to join our chapter!  I invite all members to volunteer to help organize future events and assist with activities that take place during our rallies.  You will find that it is a rewarding experience.  We are looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones at our future rallies.  Jean and I feel privileged to be a part of this organization.

Update on the Summer 2019 Pre-Rally and Convention in Minot, North Dakota.  The American Coach Chapter will have our pre-rally from August 9th until August 12th at the Roughrider Campground http://roughridercampground.com/ conveniently located in Minot, ND. Hey, all you Minot-bound travelers.  I would like to play a game in Minot, and I am asking you to bring a high school graduation picture and/or baby picture.  We will try to identify each other from them.  It should be a hoot!  I also would like to have a game day/night/whenever so bring your favorite Games to play.  Let’s have some fun!  If you have questions or concerns regarding this event, please contact Doty centraldirector@acc-fmca.com.
